Waters Corp Vac Cartridge, Oasis PRiME MCX, 6 cc/150 mg, 30 μm
Oasis PRiME MCX is a highly efficient, orthogonal (reversed-phase and ion-exchange) solid-phase extraction product based on MCX technology. It is designed for targeted cleanup of basic compounds with pKa ≥ 4.5. The methods are patent pending.
- Utilizes a defined, generic 3- or 4-step SPE protocol based on the water-wettable strong cation-exchange/reversed-phase sorbent, eliminating the need for extensive method development. No conditioning and equilibration steps are required.
- Simpler methods remove up to 99% of phospholipids, which are a major cause of matrix effects, ion suppression, shorter column lifetimes, increased MS maintenance, and higher variability in LC-MS quantification. It is QC tested for phospholipid removal.

With a 60 μm particle size, these cartridges are ideal for viscous samples. Sep-Pak Accell Plus QMA Plus Light cartridges contain a silica-based, hydrophilic, strong anion-exchanger with large pore size (300Å). The cartridges are designed for extraction of anionic analytes in aqueous and non-aqueous solutions. The large pore size makes it ideal for isolation of larger molecules such as anionic proteins such as immunoglobulins and enzymes. Other applications include isolation of phenolic compounds and removal of acidic pigments in wine, fruit juices, and food extracts. These cartridges have a distinctive finned outer body and a reduced internal diameter, which results in an interstitial volume about one-third that of the corresponding Plus-style cartridge. This design allows you to elute fractions in a minimal volume to improve recoveries and reduce solvent consumption, a benefit especially for applications where samples are limited or where excessive dilution is a concern.

Sep-Pak Amino Propyl (NH2) Vac RC cartridges contain a moderately polar, silica-based bonded phase with weakly basic surface. The sorbent can be used as a polar sorbent with different selectivity for acidic/basic analytes or as a weak anion exchanges in aqueous medium below pH 8. Applications include extraction of phenols and phenolic pigments, petroleum fractionation, saccharides and drugs and metabolites.
